About Me

Growing up in the Pacific North West, and living with a grandmother who is a landscape artist, I have been surrounded by beauty and art for most of my life. But it wasn’t until course scheduling conflicts in grade 11 that made me choose art as an elective, did I start to fall in love with art and with creating.

Having played competitive sports for most of my life, I didn’t have a lot of time to be creative. Through my art class though, I was able to discover a version of self expression that I hadn’t found on the soccer field. I continued to take art courses throughout university and graduated with a BA in Digital Media Studies from Vancouver Island University in 2021. During Covid I started taking painting more seriously and I am very excited to continue learning and creating in the future!
